Feeling Blessed
Nothing big today, just a little reflection on how blessed I’ve been this summer. Lots of family time, and so many opportunities to do things for and with the husband and kids. Grateful to God for all of it.
In just three weeks, I’ll have a kindergartner and third grader. Hard to believe these two are so big. It’s a little bittersweet and scary. But also joyful. They’re both so excited! Dana Kate has been playing school all afternoon.
Sharing my memory work for today, focus on joy and gratefulness: Psalm 95:1-5
O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
By the way, if you haven’t seen ScriptureTyper, it’s fantastic for committing verses to memory.
Now, off to write 🙂
